Two CD Rom Set:

Level 3 - Click & Drag I
Level 4 - Click & Drag II

Click & Drag I (Level 3) and Click& Drag II (Level 4) are combined to teach young children with confidence in Rollover (Level 1) and ClickIt (Level 2) skills how to progress to clicking and dragging objects around the screen using the mouse.

These are a great combination for children that have mastered basic mouse skills. After completing these two levels they will be able to confidently click and drag objects around the screen, using colours and shapes, sounds, Maori language, and basic numeracy and literacy.

The focus of Click & Drag I is to introduce children to the Skill of being able to click and drag the mouse to interact with activities on the screen.

The focus of Click & Drag II is to follow on from Click & Drag I by giving the children complete confidence in being able to click and drag the mouse to interact with activities on the screen.

This set is interactive, bi-cultural, educational and most importantly FUN! It is aimed for use in Early Education and Junior Primary and compliments the National Curriculum (Te Whariki).

Our audio and visual demonstrations direct the children clearly and simply on how the computer keyboard works, (if necessary, we also suggest that you reduce mouse speed and reduce keyboard speed to make it easier for your child to use).

Children have a choice of EASY or HARD lessons, and also in CLICK & DRAG SKILLS there are numerous numeracy and literacy lessons so they have the added choice of "SHOW ME THE ANSWERS PLEASE" or "I CAN ANSWER MYSELF THANKS". This enables children with all different levels of ability to learn at their own pace. We have found this builds confidence. There are 10 interactive lessons for each skill base and these lessons can be followed either individually, as a class group, or with teacher assistance.

There are help buttons, audio instructions and teachers notes for all lessons. There is a project at the end which revises each of the Click&Drag Levels and can be printed on completion. If the children are confident in completing these projects then we recommend they move on to the next level: Keyboard.

An instruction manual is included.
