Peepers New Zealand

The Peepers Collection is designed for children with little or no computer skills in the earlier levels, to children that have had previous computer use in the higher levels. It covers the basics from learning to move the mouse, to being able to write a story, add pictures and print it out.

There are six levels in the Peepers Collection:

- Rollover using shapes and colours
- Click-It using shapes and colours
- Click and Drag using shapes and colours
- Click and Drag Skills using Numeracy and Literacy
- Introduction to Keyboard using Numeracy and Literacy
- Keyboard Skills using Numeracy and Literacy

		ROLLOVER USING SHAPES AND COLOURS The ROLLOVER CD-Rom has been designed for children with little or no prior computer use, and introduces them to basic mouse skills with complete audio demos and instructions. Lessons includes colours, shapes, sounds, Maori language and basic numeracy. It is interactive, bi-cultural, educational and most importantly FUN! 		CLICKIT USING SHAPES AND COLOURS The ClickIt CD-Rom is directed at children who are confident in Level 1 (Rollover Skills). It teaches how to Click using the mouse. Lessons includes colours, shapes, sounds, Maori language and basic numeracy. It is interactive, bi-cultural, educational and most importantly FUN! 		CLICK & DRAG USING SHAPES AND COLOURS Click & Drag is directed at the children who are confident in Levels 1 & 2 (Rollover and ClickIt Skills) and continues the ClickIt theme by teaching the children how to Click and Drag various buttons around the screen. 		INTRO TO KEYBOARD USING NUMERACY AND LITERACY Introduction to Keyboard is directed at the children with confidence in Mouse Skills (Levels 1-4). Introduction to Keyboard teaches the children the basics of how to use the keyboard including the letters of the alphabet, and numbers 1-9. 		BEGINNER MOUSE SKILLS Rollover (Level 1) and ClickIt (Level 2) are combined to introduce young children with little or no prior computer use the exciting world of computers. 		CLICK & DRAG SKILLS Click & Drag I (Level 3) and Click& Drag II (Level 4) are combined to teach young children with confidence in Rollover (Level 1) and ClickIt (Level 2) skills how to progress to clicking and dragging objects around the screen using the mouse. These are a great combination for children that have mastered basic mouse skills. After completing these two levels they will be able to confidently click and drag objects around the screen, using colours and shapes, sounds, Maori language, and basic numeracy and literacy. 		KEYBOARD SKILLS Keyboard I (Level 5) and Keyboard II (Level 6) are combined to introduce young children with confidence in Mouse skills (and are ready for the challenge using the keyboard) basic keyboard skills. Keyboard I uses Peepers own keyboard to identify what various keys are used for; includes letters of the alphabet and numbers 1-9.
